The files in this folder are derived from CC-CEDICT, the community-maintained
Chinese-English dictionary (https://cc-cedict.org/wiki/), used under the
Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International licence
(https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/). These derived files are
shared under the same licence.

Only the characters and their pinyin readings are used. Candidates are ordered
by word counts from the jieba dictionary as shipped with cppjieba (MIT licence,
Copyright (c) 2013 Yanyi Wu), and rare readings of single characters are
identified with the help of pinyin-pro (MIT licence, Copyright (c) 2022-present
zh-lx).

Tone readings in public/dict/zh-tones.json come from the Unicode CLDR Han-Latin
transliteration data (Unicode License v3), with a few extra readings for
characters that have more than one common pronunciation.
